Capitol Gastroenterology Consultants Medical Group has been promoting digestive health in Northern California for over 25 years. Capitol GI specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of gastrointestinal disorders. All our gastroenterologists are board-certified by the ABIM and have expertise in diagnosing and treating digestive conditions. Capitol GI has clinic locations and provides outpatient services in Roseville and Lincoln, CA.

John Canio, MD
Dr. Canio received his medical degree from Howard University College of Medicine in Washington, D.C. and completed his Internship, Residency and Fellowship at the Department of Internal Medicine and Division of Gastroenterology at the University of California at Davis Medical Center. He is Board Certified in both Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. Dr. Canio has been in practice since 1997 and has been with Capitol G.I. since 2002. Dr. Canio sees patients in our Roseville office.
Ronald K. Hsu, MD
Dr. Hsu received his medical degree from the University of Wales, College of Medicine, United Kingdom in 1985. He completed his Residency in Internal Medicine at the California Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco, California. Dr. Hsu received his GI Fellowship and Therapeutic Endoscopy Training at the Prince of Wales Hospital, Chinese University of Hong Kong and University of California, Davis Medical Center. He is Board Certified in both Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. Dr. Hsu has been in practice since 1989 and has been with Capitol G.I. since 2000. He has been an academic faculty member at the University of California, Davis School of Medicine since 1994 and appointed Clinical Professor of Medicine since 2007. Dr. Hsu sees patients in our Roseville office.
Anand Madan, MD
Dr. Madan received his medical degree from Government Medical College Patiala in Punjab, India, and completed his Internship at Government Medical College in Patiala, India. He completed his Residency at Mercy Hospital and Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois, and his Fellowship at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine in Springfield, Illinois, as well as an Advanced Endoscopy Fellowship at UC Davis School of Medicine in Sacramento, California. Dr. Madan is Board Certified in both Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. He has been in practice since 2003 and has been with Capitol G.I. since 2010. Dr. Madan sees patients in our Roseville office.
Rakesh Parikh, MD
Dr. Parikh received his medical degree from N.D.M.V.P. Samaj’s Medical College in Nashik, India and completed his Internship at Nashik Civil Hospital. He completed his Residency at St. Joseph Mercy Oakland Hospital in Pontiac, Michigan and his Fellowship at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. Dr. Parikh is Board Certified in both Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. He has been in practice since 2006 and has been with Capitol G.I. since 2009. Dr. Parikh sees patients in our Lincoln and Roseville offices.
Jasbir Rangi, MD
Dr. Rangi received his medical degree from Government Medical College in Amritsar, India, and completed his Internship, Residency, and Fellowship at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. He is Board Certified in both Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. Dr. Rangi has been in practice since 1997 and has been with Capitol G.I. since 2005. Dr. Rangi sees patients in our Roseville office.
Randell Vallero, MD
Dr. Vallero received his medical degree from the New York University School of Medicine and completed his Internship at Baylor College in Houston, Texas. He completed his Residency at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and his Fellowship at the Department of Internal Medicine and Division of Gastroenterology at the University of California at Davis Medical Center. Dr. Vallero is Board Certified in both Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. He has been in practice since 2000 and has been with Capitol G.I since 2003. Dr. Vallero sees patients in both our Lincoln and Roseville offices.
